There’s something about slipping into the water just before the crack of dawn and becoming “one” with creation, it’s therapeutic in more ways than one. That 30 minute window when the first glow of pink begins to peak over the horizon, awakening the surrounding water with ripples of flipping shad and nervous finger mullet draws me into a scene that more resembles the creation of a fine artist than a coastal sunrise. Suddenly the reality of it hits me….. and I can’t help but look up and whisper “Thank you Lord for brushing me in to one more day of your handy work here on earth”. My mind begins to drift over the many blessings that have brought me to this place in time, allowing me to experience this feeling, when suddenly I’m startled by the massive explosion of a big sow trout engulfing the unsuspecting topwater at the end of my line.
THIS IS WHAT PULLS ME OUT OF MY BED AT 4:30AM MORNING AFTER MORNING. If this sounds like something you’d like to be part of, contact us and we will do our very best to make sure every preparation is made for you to experience our passion. Obviously we can’t control Mother Nature, but we can and will take care of our end. We are committed to spending an average of a combined 40 to 80 hours a week on the water and in preparation. We will be glad to offer as much or little advice as you prefer. We can let you know what gear you will need for the type fishing we will be doing, what lures and colors are currently the most effective, and which to have tied on the end of your line before leaving the dock. If you are a first time wader, we want to introduce you to our proven system that will hopefully keep you from running into snags that can take away from your experience. Our goal is to have you prepared to the point that when the boat is anchored off, you are ready to step into the water and let the fun begin. Click text to enter www.goodwadefishing.com.
